Right, time to get challenges going. No new ideas are coming in and nothing is being done. I don't want to just throw up a challenge and have it go nowhere, I want to actually do something people will want to do. So, vote on these ideas.
1.) Renovating Maxis-made community lots to fit the owner's style while keeping the same wall shape. Inspired by Ghanima's downtown revamps.
2.) Five round challenge following a band as they pursue a music career. Garage band photos, first off-campus gig, poster and album cover, reinventions... etc etc. (Will require the use of a graphics program)
3.) GOS' Good Genes Challenge with new guidelines, such as throwing alien abductions (or ghosts in Sims3) into the mix, and using a select number of pre-approved maxis sims.
4.) This challenge was being tested in Sims3 but is currently on hiatus due to issues with the latest patch. Basically, the idea was to start off with two sims, adopt three children (two toddlers and one baby, or vise versa), teach them the necessities, have at least one child of their own, and manage others that are adopted. Teens would have to work after school to help bring in money (the initial idea was to run an apple orchard throughout) which would also keep them from helping their folks raise the kids. It IS a challenge after all. When the oldest have grown, you would have to choose an heir of sorts, to continue operations if/when their parents die. The ultimate goal is to raise a certain amount of orphans (with as many learned skills as possible), and if you happen to need the 2nd generation to meet requirements, then so be it. There would also be other tasks like snapping pics of or rewards for doing certain things (such as potty training x amount of kids gives you a "donation" of $10,000). I'm sure there are other things but I can't remember them now. If you want more information on this challenge, ask Cadoc as it was her idea (<3)
Of course, if you have a new idea feel free to mention it, and I'll add it to the list.
