Ever wanted to see what your or your favorite website used to look like? Check out the Wayback Machine.

Oh my god was UYS ever a steaming pile :P

kayleigh

Huh. That's really interesting. Why does it stop at 2008?

yuichen

No idea. I've seen some others go as far as 2009, but that was it.

Avelina

I checked my website and man alive it looked primitive lol

yuichen

The church site? I don't even remember what it used to look like.

Cadoc

Interesting site. I remember you showing me this, Yui.

I wonder how much if at all my old site was saved.

Avelina, is your old The Ring site on there? xD

yuichen

Oh you know, I never even thought to look at boards. Or was there a website too that I'm just forgetting about?

Avelina

lol I have no idea. I was referring to my church's website. :P

kayleigh

I was thinking and perhaps it's because you switched to Wordpress? Most of the 2008 ones after you switched to Wordpress didn't work right, so it's possible that it stopped archiving them.

I think you did a pretty good job way-back-when, Yui. :) And it made me feel a bit like a turd because you've been UYS all by yourself for so long, and I just joined up in, what, 2009?  :-[ But I'm really glad you welcomed me and I love how great we work together. <3

yuichen

Yeah, that probably is it. I think it was the same with Digital Perversion, too.

I didn't mind doing it alone for a while. For years I was running two different sites and actually it fell behind the other, but it didn't bother me that much. It's nice to have someone else around now though. Helps keep me a little more motivated and a second opinion is always nice to have.  Plus you are the awesome :P

kayleigh

You are the awesome as well. TOGETHER WE ARE THE AWESOMEST. :D

Cracked.com looked terrible in 2001. And I can't say I think hotmail.com looked very attractive in 1996. OH, THE PRETTY BOXES!
