Heh, a lot of patience I guess. I did a lot of fumbling before sorting things out. The roof alone! I look forward to seeing whatever you come up with :)

I'm hoping to jump into any of the games and get working on the next ones soon. Last day of nanowrimo! *throws confetti*

yuichen your lot is SO beautiful  :-* I am floored! How in the world did you manage to make that horrible little lot into a place I'd actually want to live irl??

I'm having trouble finding the patience to load my game with all my cc in it but I really do want to see what I can do with it once I do!  :D

And happy hectic holiday month(s) everyone!

Sucks that it's only at half the speed, but I'm glad you got it sorted out. Hopefully you wont have any trouble for a while!

I have yet to do any of the November houses. Having trouble balancing my time :/

No problem, take all the time you need :)

I use Fraps to snap the pics, and in photosohop I run some actions that I got from people in the sims community. I'm pretty sure this is the one by Nilou, but only two of them seem to work for me. I'm not sure if it's my version of PS or what. I also use eversim's old method (get action here) sometimes, and if I feel like a scenic photo with water really needs something (also sometimes autumn photos), I'll use Kaleeko's Warm Color Pop. She also has a Cool Color Pop but it only seems to work in CS5 for me.

Hi Yuichen

Just a line to say I have not forgotten the challenge ---still trying to put this game back together and RL eat up all my time ---the post are great. (question --what photo software do you to take such clear and pretty pictures the graphics are wow)

Lol, sounds like a good idea. Have fun with it :)

Oh man, I have so many recolors of BB's niche set! I use it a lot at least, but I really hate digging for the recolor I want. The same can be said for the BV travel poster!

I think that I will do that to relax a bit from the crazy and nerving downloads sorting and purging.

While I'm sorting like mad (when will it be finished, LOL... question mark)...

I'd have a good resolution from now : stop collecting over 10 textures in all Pooklets or whatso, especially for clothes meshes, Jonesi blankets, cushions. Because good Goddess ! this drives me so mad from browsing for example the whole clothing catalogue (esp. mediaval beautiful tops and boho skirts), all Droopsi, and others' blanket recolours.

I don't always check the file size of each texture package but it can be very high. One as an example is good, I'd compress as winrar all other textures to avoid have them cluttered up in my catalogues.

______________

I also avoid downloading of way too many add-ons to BB niches and other repositoried furniture sets. From sims2artists I already have issues to know exactly what is needed for table cloths, curtains, all the small bits to not have the whole set flash blue ingame. I neded sometimes to visit the sims2artists several times for the required Master meshes, copy in text documents to keep all in mind... LOL !

Once I retextured a taroo sofa with rattan wood but the wood part always reverted back to the vanilla fugly simplan-X bed frame colour, so I simply took back Taroo's single sofa mesh (which is perfect). Problem solved !
