Sims 3 Generations Trailer
« on: Mar 11, 2011, 08:22PM »
I didn't really care for the sounds of this when I first read about it, but the trailer makes it seem a little more promising.

Watch.

Huh. Nifty. I don't quite understand what they're trying to market. Is it new abilities and things? The ability to relive events? Record events so the Sims can see them in playback? I'm kinda confused.

There hasn't been a lot of info on it yet, but I'm seeing it as focusing on families (obviously) after having one about singles, where there'll be tree houses, prank pulling teens, mid-life crisis, etc. Looks like university may be back.

Hmm...indeed.

At first I thought it was one of those stand alone games, released for minimum requirments PC's. LIke...what was it...the Island one, where they were all castaways?

Guess we'll have to wait for more info on it. THey may have made it into somethign very nifty and their leaked trailer just doesn't give it credit.

Yep, Castaway Stories. There was also Pet Stories and... another one. Life Stories or something?

I'm hoping so. I don't think it sounds terrible, though it's a little less must have than Unleashed. Even if Unleashed is a standalone.

Surprisingly enough I'm looking forward to this one more than Unleashed.  Maybe because the trailer for Unleashed was for the console version...it doesn't really  matter either way since I'm going to get both!:P

Was it the console version? Hmm.

It took me a while to notice, but in this game there's spiral stairs (!!!) and body hair, and I really like the idea of proms and bachelor parties. Really does sound like there's something for everyone :)

Nah, I don't think it's just going to be for console.  There's was a Win/Mac logo on the right hand side but the video on youtube sure did look like the console version...

I can't see them doing it only for console, there'd be a pretty big uproar.

I know right?? Especially from all the Simmers who wanted Pets for TS3. I'm really looking forward to the day they release something new instead of rip-offs of TS2.  Seriously!

I'm actually really excited for this EP! The only thing is that it reminds me of one of the original trailers for TS2, where nothing turned out to be like the game. I guess we'll see...

Such as kids hanging off a spinning ceiling fan and women tearing their shirts open before pouncing on their men? Lol yeah... I believe I still have that on my computer somewhere.

Certainly hope most of it is in the game.
