Member Database To Be Purged!

Due to the excessive amount of people registering to spam and the hope of bringing some legit members back, Kayleigh and I have decided to purge the forum of members with a post count of 0. This will take place on Monday, November 8th.

I just finished purging the member database. If your account got deleted, but you intended on posting and being part of UYS forum, go ahead and make a new account. This wasn't try to to get rid of anyone, this was to purge all the spam accounts and accounts with 0 posts.

I went through the database again.

We're getting really sick of spam users so we made a new usergroup for new users that disallows them to add signatures and websites. This is how it's going to be until we can find another way to manage the spam.

I take it you kept a sort of cut-off date?

There's still a bunch with 0 posts... did you let accts stay if they were less than x amount of days?

[kayleigh]

I deleted all the ones that said "Never" for the amount of days.
