Heyas Lindsey, welcome to UYS! :D

Sims2 may be considered old news now but I still feel like it has the most to offer. I just wish I didn't have to wait so long for mine to load, but I guess that's what I get for not cleaning out my downloads often!

Hello Lin-Z  :P
Uhm yea sorry. I'm a big My Chem fan as well, just not part of the MCRmy with how quick they are to attack other fans/people in the bands lives... anyways.
Sims 2 is a lot of fun (why are my skins erroring out?!) But I love the Sims 3 more for how open it is.

MCRmy is what the My Chemical Romance fans tend to call themselves; myself and a few of my friends have had some issues with some of the MCRmy members and we've since stopped using the term when talking about being fans.

As for my skins, I have in a single default skin tone for regular old sims; and all the Maxis made ones now display the white error with red red and 001001 coding. And I can not get anything to work to change their skins in CAS mode.

Oh derp, I see it now. MC(a)Rmy. Sucks that some fans can ruin it for everyone else :(

Do you remember where you got the skin? I was just looking at the wiki page.

Indeed on the fans, such sadness.

And I wanna say they are from MTS2, but I also wanna say its a Pooklet default.

Oh dear, Pooklet has quite a few so that could be interesting. Umm... do you keep your defaults separated so you could identify it by filename? Maybe that will help and you can see if anyone else has had any issues with it.

I meant to ask you Lindsey, what type of game do you play? (Semi)Realistic, maxis match?

That I do, I learned my lesson from ages ago when I first played sims 2. I even keep some stuff separated by creators instead of the basic sub folders of tops/bottoms/outfits.

I do that too. I feel like it's a lot easier to find things, especially when some creators don't use terribly descriptive names for their meshes. Although I do still have a ton of stuff sitting in my saved sims folder from way back in the beginning. After one of the early EPs came out I couldn't get bodyshop content to show up unless it was in saved sims, but thankfully it went back to normal later. I just never bothered to try sorting it.

I don't know. The forum is pretty quiet aside from us. She might not have much to talk about. I had hoped Avelina would come and post when she got Sims4, which she said she likes more than Sims3, but she hasn't. Maybe I can round her and Cadoc in.

My close friends. I've known Avelina since... 2004ish? I've known Cadoc a long time too but we weren't really friends until maybe 2009. She helps fuel my writing and because she's amazing (she's writing a fabulous novel) it's made me look a little more seriously at mine. Which is both a good and bad thing xD
