Sims Medieval
« on: Aug 20, 2010, 03:09PM »
Just found out about this game this morning, and while I'm not usually into that sort of thing, it looks really good and I'm having trouble with the thought of waiting until March when it comes out.

The Sims Medieval

Maybe I'm just super excited because it'll be easier to make the Andronis characters <3

There are rumors (or maybe they are not so much rumors) that most missions and such will be done in rabbit holes and kids won't be able to grow up, which is a huge turn off. The game does look good, but i am sure the pictures are all photoshopped a ton, so i don't know what we can believe.
Here and here are some more pictures and articles and of course, there is some TSR-related drama, as well, LOL!

Somehow I'm not surprised with the TSR drama. That guy sinks to new lows all the time.

I really hope the rumors are wrong! That would just be ridiculous not to have children age, and everything in rabbit holes?? Lame -.-

I hope so too as the trailer looked really awesome. Guess we'll have to wait and see if they tell anything more about it.

Sooo...this comes out tomorrow! Who's going to get it?

I'm not...as least not as soon as it's released as I have with other games and not at this price.

FYI there's already a patch out for it and it's not even released yet! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???  :-\

Yep! There's no download link but this is what it fixes! O_o

I might get it! MIGHT being the key word but not for awhile yet.  I have other games I need to play, stories to write and it still looks as if children don't age so what's the point? How does your kingdom really evolve?

I'd say the kids not aging is a major turn-off. How on earth can a kingdom grow if the kids don't age?

It'll be interesting to see how the game actually is, though.

why would they have it where the children don't grow? That makes no sense.

Sooo...I know I said I wasn't going to get it but...

See what happened was amazon.com had a promo the digital download. 15 bucks off digital download! And I had just got my tax money sooo...

PICTURES!:P The game isn't as sucktacular as I thought it was going to be.  I haven't really got a chance to play.  You HAVE to go through the tutorial first and the camera sucks but there's already a no mosaic mod out! HUZZAH! Some missions are done in rabbit holes which is lame but meh...Anyways, I call this a RPG lite.

Queen Analisa. Traits: Eloquent jokester who happens to be an insomniac! CAS is WAY better in Medieval than it is IN TS3 without the hacks. How did that happen?

Town crier.

I like the dance movies. I have a video on youtube here. Short since my bard stopped playing!

I got it for my birthday and have played it a little. I agree, it's not that bad. I'm still trying to figure everything out but I like the quests. It's harder to make money though. I shall have to get some screens of my own and share :)
