Best TV Shows
« on: Jul 09, 2010, 01:13AM »
It's quite awkward and quiet in here so I thought I'd post something. Anything really, so that we're not just standing around looking at the floor and pretty pictures on the wall while fidgeting with our name tags :P

So, what are your favorite TV shows? Any you're particularly obsessed with?

It's long finished now but I absolutely adored Six Feet Under. I watch a lot of House, and before 24 finished I was pretty into that although I got into it late. Don't watch much TV now so I'm probably pretty behind in what's out there these days. I've been wanting to watch Dexter but I always forget when it's on!

No vampire shows? For shame! :P

There's a new CSI series out now, isn't there?

I don't watch live TV, just recordings and stuff online. I'm currently watching Trueblood and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. I also plan to watch Glee, Dexter, Chuck, and a couple others I can't remember right now when their seasons start back up.

I'm mostly boring when it comes to TV stuff. I don't know a lot of shows and the ones people suggest to me are really far past their first season so I won't download them to watch. But I did watch the first season of Nip/Tuck. It didn't interest me enough to download another season.

I watched part of the first episode of Trueblood to see what the hype was about. I couldn't get into it. It's nice that they don't sparkle and actually attack people, but you know, still not for me.

I don't know, people complain that there's too much sex in it, but I don't have a problem with it. It's not like it's porn or anything. o.O It's got the same amount of sex as movies do nowadays.

I don't know what I like about it. I think I just like having a vampire show to watch. I love vampires too much to not have at least one show about them. And this show isn't bad at all so I'm good with it. xD

Ha! Love that description of the awkwardness!

I watch House, True Blood(thank GOD for no sparkles and they have WOLVES this season!), NCIS, Spongebob, and I recently got into watching the X-files although it's been of the air for YEARS. And random shows on USA that I can take or leave.  Most of these shows I set up to record and then watch later so I'm always behind!

Yep, this season has wolves. :) They're the legitimate wolf werewolves too, not the dude-turns-into-half-man-half-wolf-thing kind. They change like Sam does. If you've seen that far in, I mean... >_>

Vampire shows? Nah. I first like Vampire Diaries but then it grew old on me. If I want my Vampire hype I'll just watch Moonlight and/or Twilight.

Though at the moment I hate Twilight, love New Moon. Which seems to make certain people happy. *twitches*

Oh and don't forget Vampire Knight ;)

Vampire Knight, yes. Suddenly I feel like watching it again. Oh and you liked Moonlight. Or maybe just the guy? Haha xD

I'll definitely have to give TB another go, then. I don't remember that much about what I watched, except that the blonde chick dealt with the vampire in the restaurant. But then I remember her out in the woods and he changed her because she was attacked? Now that I think about it, I can't remember if that was all in the first episode or a chunk in the summary for the first season.

Are you sure? ;) haha j/k

Oh, and I forgot Canada's Worst Driver on the Discovery Channel. Some of them are so bad and clueless that it makes me feel better about my iffy driving (but it's mostly about confidence I think... I've never hit anything xD).

@ Yui I believe that was like the first two episodes! LOL!! It might have even been the first episode.  I can't remember because I watched the first season on netflix before I broke down and just got HBO. ;)

@Kar I was going to rend New Moon from amazon for .99 because of the wolves*squee* but I just can't get into Twilight although I tried again!
