Translations from the official Sims 3 Spain magazine confirm that over time sims' hair and beards will grow, and that wind will move them as well as their clothes. In Create A Sim you'll be able to change the size of their feet, sims can now be either right or left handed, and *drum roll* Sims4 will apparently run better on low end machines than Sims3!

The Sims Network has posted an article previewing Sims4's build mode from the Sims Camp.

Highlights are the ability to add foundations to an existing house without needing to demolish anything, different wall heights on various stories, the new build types for walls and fencing -including rounded edges, weee! Also of note, while you can change the pitch and curve of each roof piece, you can now change the roof texture per roof piece, and there are some nice looking trims.

Alternately, there are some things I'm not sure about. Namely, the magazine catalog. While it sounds interesting to buy your items like out of an Ikea catalog, I have a feeling it would get old to do it like that fairly quickly. There is as yet no create a style but that doesn't mean there wont be one... I just wonder what they would choose to do instead.

Videogamer has posted an interesting article regarding an in-game auction house similiar to Diablo3 where players can share content freely. As of yet they are not saying whether users will be able to sell said content (and I certainly hope not), but I'm sure more will come to light as development progresses.

Contests & Challenges / New Challenges Coming Soon

I'm currently compiling a list of challenges that anyone can take part in, but let me start off by saying that posting any of it is in no way required. Think of them as something to refresh your gameplay or make use of aspects you may not have explored yet, such as supernatural occult or career tracks.

As of right now I'm only working on Sims3 (mostly because it's easier for me to go in game and do quick test) but Sims2 will have it's own list as well. Challenges include chaotic pets and occult related generational tasks, nectary operation, guiding three sims in a household to different types of stardom, and more. Hopefully something will interest some of you.

Also, if anyone has any ideas feel free to discuss it and perhaps it will be added to the final list :)

Forum Issues / A Note To Potential New Members

It seems that user registration was borked for some time as there were no new members in addition to the faulty memberlist in the admin control panel. Although it has since been fixed, we've unfortunately had an influx of spam registrations.

For the time being registration is disabled.

For those who may be worried the site will not be returning, rest assured that we're still working on things and hope to go live again shortly. This thread will serve as your go-to for news on the maintenance.

Currently, May 29th 2013, we are reshooting images for the mesh pages and finishing up migration of offsite downloads.

June 29th, 2013 - Kayleigh is redoing some fat morphs for consistency.

If you'd like to comment on this thread and are not a member you will need to register. However, they are currently disabled to curb constant spam accounts, so please see this thread for further instructions.

When a sim gets pregnant and I have to chose an outfit before they begin to show (at least when I am playing sans Master Controller), I typically forget which clothes, EA meshes included, have morphs. This thread will serve as a master list.

Sims 3 Discussion / Braaaaaains! A Supernatural Discussion

For those who have Supernatural, what are your thoughts so far?

I haven't really played it that much myself, but of what I have seen, some things are alright and others are kind of annoying.

For example, a starving artist sim was making a living on her paintings and selling produce from her garden. My first encounter with zombies consisted of 5 or 6 of them appearing at once, who then proceeded to eat all my crops. They completely mauled them and there was nothing I could do to stop it. Thankfully I could save the plants the next morning. It was pretty funny to see them swarm a boombox that appeared out of nowhere by the sidewalk where they all danced until the sun came up, returning to their normal selves. I just wish their skin wasn't so green. It's more alien like to me.

Otherwise I've only dabbled in a little bit. A fairy sim was going to work her way up alchemy, but because I built a complicated tree house, the lot wasn't terribly playable and I ended up not wanting to continue with the household. She kept bees though. I enjoyed watching her get stung.

I really love the glow around the moon, though, and the eerie light the night takes on. And while I haven't played with lycans yet, I have seen pics, and holy hell did EA destroy their faces. I like the veins that appear , but the structural change in the face just seems like its to the extreme. Yikes.
