(TS3) I was poking around Twinbrook and there's a lovely I-don't-know-what-I-would-do-with-it house that might work for the next one...?

Otherwise that atrocity in Sunset Valley that was already nominated makes me very, very afraid. Therefore, it is a great choice. :)

Well...

I tried.

Also, I am back. Er, never left but kind of wandered over there and then squirreled over here and then returned. Something something good excuse. ANYWAYS.

So since I only play S3 and I have a terrible fear of CC (no offence to anyone, I just can't bog down this computer any more than I really dare...) this is pretty much a Maxis only zone. Not super happy with my decorating ability with this but it's what I have so. Yesh.

I can say I personally loved the roofs (even though they were a pain in the butt to get right) and the living/sitting area is pretty. Not a huge fan of the pool house (which was the garage and REFUSED to move in height when I attempted to fix the ground height) but it works. I also couldn't get great pictures of it but trust me, it's there and it's pool-like. Also, I will probably never try to make an modern/industrial themed home again. Just so cold with the silver and whites. I couldn't put in enough color to overcome the sterilized feeling without losing the "look" so...*grimble rimble doom*.

I adore this song. No idea why, I just love the way it folds multiple meanings into one verse. I particularly love the K D Lang version.

Well, dang near anything the creaters make is done for a purpose, typically attractive enough to make you not vomit when you see them every time you load the game.

I hate to admit it, but DA1 and DA2 just were just okay to me. I liked the style and the map features of the 2nd, and the semi open world of the first, but I've played other games far more and with far more fervor. To me--and this is why you also shouldn't feel bad about it Yui--they were meh, okay. Something to play, but the want lacked.

I should also mention for a couple of you, and you know who you are, that there is a Thoros in the books/show. Jaime Lannister mentions him in the fourth episode, fyi.

He's Thoros of Myr, not of Whethoof.

If I could sue for copyright enfridgment I still wouldn't b/c Martin scares me with his epic beard.

I still think my Thoros is more bad@ss, although I'm not sure he can beat the whole warrior monk with a flaming sword bit. O.o

Hmm...indeed.

At first I thought it was one of those stand alone games, released for minimum requirments PC's. LIke...what was it...the Island one, where they were all castaways?

Guess we'll have to wait for more info on it. THey may have made it into somethign very nifty and their leaked trailer just doesn't give it credit.

I guess what I'm saying is that I hope they don't do a C&P of what they did with the first Sims game, where they treat other animals as objects: "The Sims: Unleashed is the fifth expansion pack developed for The Sims. Unleashed introduces pets into the game. While dogs and cats are treated as sims, other pets are treated as objects. However, they cannot be controlled directly like human Sims are. "

Just hoping they don't decide to do that. It'll be interesting to see how they develop lots for say, an equestrian center or a farm. If the game wasn't complex enough at some points, lol.

Huh. Nifty. I don't quite understand what they're trying to market. Is it new abilities and things? The ability to relive events? Record events so the Sims can see them in playback? I'm kinda confused.

So cool. Must dig up more info. Between this and Medieval I'ma happy PC gamer.
