I figured instead of hijacking the sims post I will try to contain my randomness here, lol. KEYWORD: TRY :)
Here is a how to for the printed book pages:

More randomness to follow. I think I need to go to bed is really tired :(
-
Sounds easy enough! :)
-
I can't wait to see what you create lol.
-
Our printer is kind of borked right now so I wont be able to try anything until the husband figures out why it's being a junk or replaces it :/
-
How old is your printer? With the way the companies are making them it's probably time for a replacement. I might get one this year on Black Friday they are usually less than 50 bucks which of course is good but then the ink cost that much. I tend to over research ink for printers just to make sure it's worth it.
-
Umm... maybe 3 or 4 years old? I'm not entirely sure. It's a laser printer, in any case.
Oh god yes, the ink prices! My mother-in-law bought a printer pretty cheap and was excited about it until my husband told her how much the ink was. Sadly it happened a couple times cause she doesn't bother to look up anything before she buys it.
-
Now that's funny. Sometimes we are blinded by the cheap price until we see the additional costs.
-
I wish I could say ink was the only issue she has that but she's kind of like that with everything :/
Very true! When I was on vacation I bought some stuff and though it was a decent price... but I forgot the tax there is 18% -.-
-
Oh that truly sucks.
Are there any Walmarts where you live? I bought some beads from my local walmart, they were 9 bucks. I also lost my debit card. I had to use my joint card to get gas.
-
Eeep, that sucks! My husband's credit card was recently cloned so he had to use his debit card on vacation, and a bunch of bills fell behind because of the issue. He talked to most of the companies though and they said they understood. Thankfully the new card was in the po box when we got home.
Yep, we have two walmarts nearby. One is 20ish minutes away and the other is about 45. The further one is bigger and a super store, and the smaller one is being converted... without them adding on to the building so it's gonna be cramped in there >.>
-
That's going to be an interesting store.
I am glad he got his card back.
I found mine of course, it was in my uniform. I didn't freak out cause no one had used it, I just hate misplacing stuff like that. I plan on going to hobby lobby today. I don't want to buy too much considering I haven't really did much with the stuff I already own but I am going to be off for a few weeks and will need something to keep my hands busy.
-
Ah I see. Definitely a good time to mess with that kind of stuff, and i'm glad you found your card :)
-
I got off work later than normal and I didn't get to the store. Maybe tomorrow.
-
Have you seen this site before?

http://dollarbead.com/
I ordered some stuff today, I am not going to say how much stuff....... ???
-
I didn't... thanks! :D
-
I probably spent too much money. Tomorrow I am going to Bead Village, it's probably going to suck and be really expensive. :(
-
I always seem to spend too much on supply stuff too :/
Also, I forgot to mention I've ordered from Fire Mountain Gems (http://www.firemountaingems.com/) before. Found them through my mom. Oddly I haven't gotten a catalog in the mail for quite a while, hmm.
-
I got my catalog today, lol. I got my box from dollarbeads.com. I haven't opened the box but I plan on it today. I also go some of my ebay packages. Yeah!
-
Lol yay, getting stuff in the mail is fun! :D
-
I was going to go the Hobby Lobby but I chickened out, I think....
-
Are those still supposed to close up? Or was that another store? *thinks*
-
I hadn't heard of them closing. I hope they don't this city doesn't have many craft stores.
-
I thought I read something within the last couple months about them closing. Something to do with religious values, I think. Unless it wasn't actually them but another store with Hobby in the name...
-
Well now they are closed on Sundays so that the employees can "go to worship services" I don't think that all of those employees are worshipping. That's my opinion. I see that they might close. At least they do have their principles, I guess.

Here is the government's response: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/07/10/white-house-birth-control_n_7771004.htm
If they close I am raiding the store although I do that even when I never thought they were closed. Hobby Lobby is a tad expensive but it reminds me of my mother so I go there to think and be with her. Weird I know but it's okay.

The second link didn't work for me, gave me a 404.
I understand where they're coming from, people have the right to their beliefs and to live all areas of their lives in alignment with it. And if they feel their only option is to close, then they're welcome to it. I wouldn't want them to feel bad about what they're doing, even if my opinion is different from their own. To each their own, really.
And I don't think that is weird at all :)
-
I wonder why that link didn't work. It was just saying that the government isn't going to make them do whatever they didn't want to do.
I think you might find this interesting if you don't already know about it.

Unfortunately I've run into people like that playing Destiny on the few occasions I played with random people. I did end up with a bunch of guys in my province somehow, and most of them spoke french but there was one who spoke english. He was nice and translated things, and talked to me normally, but occasionally I heard my username mentioned and they'd start laughing. I didn't care that much cause I didn't know what they were saying. I friended the nice guy and I joined him another time. Unfortunately some douche bag came in and tried SO hard to look cool, talking about drugs and how much of a "hard ass" he was. When I finally talked and he knew I was a girl, he only got worse and started talking about sexual stuff and asked me gross questions. I never played with them again. I didn't feel personally attacked or anything, but it was just a huge turn off. I want to play a game, not babysit man-babies trying to look cool for a girl.
Now I pretty much just play with friends, and friends of friends. Or, in the case of PS4 with their group chat feature that doesn't require you to be tethered by game, just talk to them while I do my own thing. Last night I did that with Cadoca (on this forum), her husband, and their friend Ty. I've played with both guys on several occasions before and they can manage being a decent human being, so why can't the rest? >.>
-
Well guys are kinda dumb. :)
Whenever I play games I usually create a male character I know that's crazy but I do or I have an ambiguous avatar unless it's something for the sims. Guys are dumb, did I say that already. Well they are. It's difficult for guys to be normal 'cause they don't know what normal is. I really wished the lady on the site would update more I would like to know follow her. Most of the people I know are shocked that someone my age even plays video games. Men are dumb but not all of them. We haven't reached we are all equal in some things yet. As I have gotten older I have cared less about what others think of me so rude comments don't bother me as much as they did in the past.
I don't like bossy people or nosey people that's what I have run into lately. It will get better hopefully.
-
I've worked hard the last year at being less effected by what other people think of me (or liking myself in general) but sometimes I fall back for a bit. I always crawl back out though. And how silly is it for people to be surprised by gamers' ages? Games aren't just for kids anymore, man! My dad was pushing 60 and he loved to play. My mom, who is also close to 60, likes to play too but she doesn't very often. I think it's more of a winter thing for her. Besides, it's good for older people to play games cause it keeps their mind active.
Ugh yes, bossy people! D:
-
Are you still working on craft projects? I've been looking at pinterest to start getting ideas for Christmas, and considering some ideas for the glass projects later on.
-
My husband? Decent human being? Gah, don't tell him that. I'll never hear the end of it. :P
-
Lol my lips are sealed :P
-
Unlikely. :D
Not to jump into your guys' convo, but a lot of what you were talking about it why I don't like to play MMO's or games that lean heavily on online content. There's too many jerks out there that think that hiding behind a username and an online profile makes them invincible. I had one instance on RDR where this dude followed me all the way across the map just to headshot my character. Needless to say, I quit out. :/
-
Ugh yes, I had that trouble on RDR too! D: Also hated it when you were trying to clean out a place and they came in and kept killing you instead of helping. Asshats.
They can still make an updated game if they'd like, though >.>
-
I keep hearing whispers in the rumor mill about a new one but nothing official. When they did that remaster/update thing for GTA and they were showing environments, I originally thought they were announcing the next RDR. But of course, that was for GTA.
Given RDR's commercial success I know they will make another one (it would be ridiculous to not ride that money train longer if they could). Question is mostly when, and if they ever give up this GTA bs. Or at least take a break from it for a bit. There's only so many hookers you can beat up, right? (Right? *worries*)
Given that, I'm also surprised that there aren't more western-themed games out there. I get the allure of magic in Final Fantasy, and shooting bad guys in CoD, and the complexities of space and choice making in Mass Effect. But I find it hard to believe that the gritty, tough world of America at the turn of the century has no inspiration for game makers. (Well, obviously this is a broad statement, I know of a few western-styled games but I digress.)
-
Now that they've finished up GTA5 you'd think they'd shift their attention to RDR. But yes, I wish there were more like it.
